PSS Polymer Standards Service GmbH was founded in 1985 by highly qualified polymer chemists as a spin-off company of the University of Mainz.

Its customers include global corporations, universities, research institutes, petrochemical and pharmaceutical companies in more than 50 countries.

The well-trained staff, mainly chemists with a PhD in analytical and/or polymer chemistry, is experienced, creative and trained in problem solving. The laboratory equipment is based on state-of-the-art technology and allows modern polymer synthesis and characterization as well as method development. PSS conducts homogeneity and stability tests in the field of chromatography and advises on the development of new processes.
